NEW PATIENTS
If you are new to chiropractic, changing doctors or just returning after some
time off, for whatever reason you will feel welcome from the moment you call or
walk in the front door. Someone from the staff will greet you and provide you
with the appropriate paperwork for you to complete. Or you may choose to access
the forms here and have them completed before you come in for your
initial visit. Also, on your first visit please make sure you have any relevant
insurance or accident claim forms available so we can make a copy for our files.
It is also important that you bring along any extra information such as X-ray or
MRI reports or the films themselves. If you have any of this information it will
help the doctors in constructing an appropriate care plan and schedule.
After the paperwork is completed, an exam and scan of your spine and nervous system will be conducted.
These tests are preformed in order to find the root of
the problem. We know where you are hurting but we want to know what exactly is
causing the issue. Once the scan of your spine and nervous system are completed
one of the doctors will start you on your journey to better health. Total length
of your initial visit may be from 30 to 45 minutes.
During your second visit, which is typically within the next couple days,
your doctor will sit down with you and review your scan, review your care plan
and schedule with you. You will be given a New Patient folder with a copy of
your baseline spine and nervous system scan as well as other valuable
information to take home to read and review at your leisure. Then, similar to
your first office visit, you will experience the highest quality chiropractic
care. The second visit is a bit shorter, lasting about 20 minutes and subsequent
visits after that usually last about 15 minutes, depending on the care plan.
Throughout your care, your spine and nervous system will be rescanned and
compared to the previous scan and the appropriate adjustments to your spine and
nervous system as well as your care plan and schedule will be made.
